About Us

The Afternotes is a women’s a cappella group based on the seacoast of New Hampshire and Southern Maine. This multi-generation group of UNH alumni bring a fun style and varied repertoire to their performances, showcasing their love of making music. The Afternotes also strive to bring awareness to local causes and raise money for NH and Maine based charities.  Learn more about us.

Upcoming Performances

Join us on Wednesday December 4th at 6:30 at the Rye Public Library in Rye, NH.

And we’ll be back at On the Marsh for Christmas Prelude in Kennebunk this year on Saturday, December 7.

We’ll wrap up the holiday season at The Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth as part of their famous Candlelight Stroll on Saturday December 21st starting at 7:30.

Previous Performances

A good time was had by all at the South Berwick (Maine) Strawberry Festival on Saturday, June 29th.  Thanks again for having us!

A big shout out to everyone who made our April 7 Sing in the Spring concert a huge success!

Thank you to The Overtones and Portsmouth Pro Musica for a great time at Live Free and Sing!

On Saturday, December 8th, we enjoyed singing a mix of holiday and contemporary tunes as part of the East Kingston Elementary School Holiday Chili Cook Off!

Thanks for another festive evening at On the Marsh for part of the Christmas Prelude celebrations on December 1!
