The Afternotes Celebrate Female Empowerment

We’ll be appearing as part of a pre-show performance during a staging of The Vagina Monologues on Saturday, February 21st at the Portsmouth Music Hall.  Our group will sing at 7:30 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm.  To honor the spirit of the event, we have put together a set of music that features songs of empowerment; songs themed around communication, strength, reflection, and love.

This exciting event, sponsored by Back Alley Productions and V-Day Portsmouth, brings The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler to the Music Hall Stage.  100% of the proceeds will benefit Sexual Assault Support Services and a Safe Place.  Visit the Music Hall site for information and tickets.

And read more about the history of the V-Day production in the Portsmouth Herald.
